dylan in fairfax

Well, we didn't get Forever Young in Fairfax, or The Levee's Gonna Break, which was played the next night in Philly. What we got was a grade-A performance, and a fantastic set- in fact, the only four-song encore of the entire tour! I was very pleasantly surprised to hear Señor in the second slot, and I thought he really nailed the song. Bob's voice seemed strong all night, definitely the best of the three times I've seen him play- although to be fair, I was a true neophyte at the first show, and the sound was horrible.

The Raconteurs, the lure that put me over the edge as to whether or not to attend this show, played a good, if somewhat long, opening set. They covered It Ain't Easy and Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down), and closed with Steady As She Goes arranged with a much louder intro.
